A Pretty in Pink Paris Birthday

There is no place in the world that’s more beautiful than Paris (in my humble opinion)! That made styling this Pretty in Pink Paris Birthday so much fun for me to do! With all of its feminine charm, the city of Paris and the color pink just seem to go perfectly together…and what is Paris without its magical, sparkling Eiffel Tower? The lovely mini strawberry cakes with the rose centers were inspired by the elegance and serenity of the French gardens, while the gorgeous vanilla-frosted cupcakes were reminiscent of the heavenly feeling you get when you’re in the city of love! Je taime, Paris.

NYC Bridal Shower

We’re thrilled to feature this NYC Bridal Shower submitted by Seri and Michelle, of Little Miss Party Planner! The romantic details are in everything…the decor, the soft pink color palette, and even the menu!

PARTY RECAP {As told by Seri & Michelle}: We chose the subtle theme of Love Birds, as Mere and Jules are truly the perfect pair.  Since cherry blossoms would be in bloom at the time of the shower, and pink is one of the wedding colors, we knew they would be the perfect backdrop to this lovely springtime soiree. For the dessert table, we used these amazing large white carafes to hold the heavy cherry blossoms.  In the center of the table we used a burlap runner and on top of it was a vintage white birdcage, complete with two “love birds.”  We leaned a galvanized metal “M” against the birdcage to complete the look.  Two wooden crates filled with wheatgrass were placed on either end of the dessert table, one with mini Pies on a Stick, and the other heart shaped chocolate covered rice krispy treats!  In addition we served two kinds of cake pops, espresso cookies, and lemon meringue tartlets, which we displayed on a bed of pink jelly beans. Not only were the sweets delicious, they were gorgeous as well, thanks to our girl Kristan at Kreated by Kristan.  The seriously addicting Strawberry cake by Sugar Sweet Sunshine, was a pale pink and adorned with two wooden Love Birds. We can never say enough about our friends at Cobblestone Catering, who helped us come up with the perfect menu, which we displayed on mini chalkboard signs next to each food item. We had such a wonderful time planning this special event and were truly honored to be a part of it.  It was a great day spent with family and friends.

A Pinkalicious Birthday Party

This Pinkalicious Birthday Party submitted by Sunny by Design, is just precious! The cupcakes are too cute, and the craft activities get everyone involved in all the fun!

PARTY RECAP {As told by Sunny}:  My friend Connie’s daughter, Evey, wanted this pink, sweet theme for her party. When we were invited to attend, I had no idea Connie was so talented and creative. One of my favorite things was the activity pages she lined the table with. Connie had the brilliant idea of putting the crayons in adorable glass mason jars decorated with coordinating Pinkalicious printables.  She found the activity pages at the Pinkalicious website, which is a wonderful website if you’re a Pinkalicious fan or not.No Pinkalicious or little girl party period is complete without crowns and fairy wands, oh and lots of glitter.  Connie cut out each pink tiara and blue crown by hand. The treat boxes were also Connie’s creation.  I made pink vanilla cupcakes with pink buttercream frosting in the style of Pinkalicious. Then there was a giant one of these.  I made a Pinkalicious cupcake cake (my first thank you).  It was strawberry with vanilla buttercream frosting, very pink and very yummy if I do say so myself.

Butterfly Baby Shower

This precious Butterfly Baby Shower designed by Keisha of Cupcake Wishes & Birthday Dreams is just too cute! We love the pink and brown color scheme and the yummy dessert table full of sweet treats!

PARTY RECAP {As told by Keisha}My client was hosting a shower for her sister and they decided that the color scheme be pink and brown to coordinate with the baby’s room.  So, when I found this adorable Pink Boutique clip art and coordinating Chic Pink Stripes Paper collection from  Woofy World at mygrafico.com, I knew I was going to be able to create some really fantastic party elements.  My client kept repeating over and over that she wanted her niece and sister to be celebrated with a bang and that she wanted a real wow factor.  I knew the perfect way to do that would be to create a fabulous dessert table for the party and to also create small focal points throughout her home. As guests entered the home, they were greeted with a welcome sign. I was able to use the papers and some images from my Cricut to make this sign.  The guest of honor is a sassy and hip lady.  I really wanted to convey that image in this sign by using this modern silhouette image of an expectant mother! Mimosa cocktails were passed out as guests made their way into the main area of the party.  I attached little butterfly cut outs onto bamboo sticks to add the right amount of flair to the champagne flutes. As the party came to a close, we opened up the dining area to reveal a beautiful sweets table.

Hello Kitty Inspired 4th Birthday Party

When we saw this adorable Hello Kitty Inspired 4th Birthday Party by Sunny Duran, of Sunny by Design, we just had to showcase all of the incredible details! From the beautiful table setting to the fun treat bags, this party had it all!

PARTY RECAP {As told by Sunny}:  I can’t believe my little Mara just turned 4.  She is such a wonder and a joy and she always brings a smile to my face.  She’s very girly and playful so it’s no wonder she loves Hello Kitty.  Since it was so close to Valentines day I took my Sweethearts Valentine collection and added Hello Kitty stickers and some cute imagery I downloaded off the Sanrio website. I also used some coloring pages to line the table with instead of using a table cloth.  I also used Mara’s collection of Hello Kitty dolls to sit at the table with our little guests.  I had to decorate with paper poms, of which I am a sucker for.  No they probably don’t go with every occasion but if I can throw them in I will. We had cupcakes of course with my printables and Hello Kitty cake made by me. The cake was strawberry and vanilla with pink buttercream frosting.  Mara pretty much told me she wanted a big Hello Kitty face on the cake so that’s what I did.  She also picked out the huge Hello Kitty card on the table next to the cake.  It made a cute sign.  We also had Chocolate covered marshmallow heart pops, chocolate covered strawberries (these went really fast), sweetheart candy and oreo cake hearts. I wanted an original treat bag so I designed a paper purse to go along with the party.
