A Frozen Birthday Party

AGPFrozenWEBFILES-45

Styling this Frozen Birthday Party was a real labor of love for me. I ate, drank, and slept with visions of blue, white, and purple dancing around in my head. It was a winter wonderland fit for a queen…a little princess in this case.  The amazing photography was by my sweet friend, Lucy Munoz Photography .

A Defrightful Halloween Party

This adorable Defrightful Halloween Party submitted by Jenifer from Hello Love Designs is full of spooktacular sweets that any kid {or grown-up for that matter} would love! The orange, purple, and black color scheme is fabulous and sets the tone for a “boo-tiful” bash!

PARTY RECAP {As told by Jenifer}: Spiders, Bats, and Black Cats, Oh My!  The Defrightful Halloween party is a styled party by Jenifer of Hello Love Designs.  I designed fun, playful printables with “a play on words” in mind.  For instance, Defrightful in place of delightful, eek-y as opposed to icky, and beware-y sounding similar to “be weary.”  Silhouettes of spiders, bats, and black cats are used with traditional Halloween colors black, purple, and a pop of eye-catching chartreuse.  My very favorite piece of the party kit is the treat bag template that I created with inspiration from a popcorn bag.  How fun!  Of course, it can be used for popcorn, but I absolutely love how perfect the treat bag works for favors and how easy it is to assemble!  My other favorite idea to the Defrightful party was using candy bracelets around the glass bottlenecks as straw holders – very handy and practical.  This party kit is perfect for personal parties, office, or classroom parties too!

A Pretty in Purple Bridal Shower

I am thrilled to share this fabulous bridal shower submitted by Seri and Michelle of Little Miss Party Planner! Gorgeous shades of purple added warmth and elegance to a very chic celebration. For the menu, guests got to enjoy an array of delicious brunch items , including a yummy yogurt bar! With all of its pretty, personal touches, there’s no doubt that this very heartfelt shower is one that everyone will be remembering for a long time.

PARTY RECAP {As told by Seri}: The shower comes from my sister Mandy, AKA LMP Toronto. Together with the bridal party for their dear friend Dalya, she put on one of the most beautiful showers I’ve seen to date. With shades of purple starring as the accent color to this rustic and simply pretty brunch, she used hearts, branches and love notes to honor the bride. Also to her credit she found an incredibly talented photographer to take the photos seen in this post…her name is Robin Harrison. Brunch was served so elegantly on white platters laying on a bed of grass. They had a yogurt bar. What a fun idea for a brunch. Interactive and a great way for guests to build their own parfaits. I also love the mason jars filled with berry smoothies. They are dark in color to go along with the season and the theme and look so yum!  How gorgeous are those branches that just happened to wilt over and look almost like a heart. The girls set out paper bags with hearts cut out of different types of decorative paper and attached with a mini clothespin. Each bag was filled with hershey kisses for the guests to take home. And for some fun and a fab way to create a keepsake for the bride, the girls set up a string with “love letters” hanging for the guests to sign to the newlyweds.

A Tangled Birthday Celebration

Oh my goodness…this Tangled inspired birthday celebration submitted by Renee Marie Photography is just too precious! With incredible party details such as the soaring donut and cupcake tower, and a visit from Rapunzel herself, this princess birthday was a wish come true for one very lucky little girl!

PARTY RECAP {As told by Renee}: This fairytale inspired party summoned everyone to ‘Let down their hair’ as they were transformed into Rapunzel’s Tangled wonderland. DIY Mom Theresa, almost exclusively created and styled each amazing detail with the help of her sister and the party girl’s Aunt, Sandy. From sunshine cookies to paintbrushes made from pretzel rods and chocolate, the sweet treats were delightful. The incredible donut and cupcake tower was the perfect centerpiece that ended in a 6 foot trail of ‘golden locks’ that Theresa hand braided (she is also a hair stylist so her skills were well put to use)! The party guests each arrived in princess attire and were entertained by Rapunzel herself who led them in story telling, singing and face painting. Guests each were given their own special paint sets packaged in handmade bags created by BellisimaSofia (Etsy designer).
